Vienna Porcelain Portrait Plate of Persephone, Hand-Painted & Artist Signed circa 1880-1910

Beautiful Vienna porcelain portrait plate of Persephone, Goddess of Spring and Fertility, circa 1880-1910, and signed by the artist, Kitimer, on the lower left side of the portrait. The plate has a light blue background and is wonderfully decorated with cobalt blue and gold scenes and white enamel dotting around the rim and through the plate. The portrait has a gray-green background and Persephone is decorated in colourful, flowing robes with spring flowers on her head.

The plate measures 8 inches in diameter and is in good condition. It is mounted on a metal holder and shows the Vienna mark on the bottom of the plate.
