Vintage Sherman Champagne & Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Brooch and Earrings Demi-Parure, Circa 1960

A striking vintage rhinestone demi-parure by renowned Canadian costume jewellery designer Sherman, dating to circa 1960.

The set comprises a dramatic floral starburst brooch with matching clip-on earrings, richly set with elongated champagne and golden-topaz navette rhinestones. The centre of the brooch is formed from a dense cluster of brilliant Aurora Borealis crystals, with additional AB stones positioned throughout the radiating design to create flashes of blue, pink, green and gold.

The warm champagne-coloured crystals are individually prong-set in a complementary gold-tone setting, giving the entire composition a rich and luminous appearance. The matching earrings repeat the floral cluster and navette motif of the brooch.

Signed Sherman to the reverse.

A particularly decorative matched Sherman set from the mid-century period, combining an unusual warm champagne palette with brilliant Aurora Borealis accents.
