Late 19th Century French Sevres-Style Porcelain Trinket Box with Gilt Bronze

his is a fine cobalt blue porcelain trinket box with hinged cover and ormolu mounts. The domed lid features a large cartouche: A figural study of lovers in a pastoral setting.
The painting is richly framed with raised, foliate, and gadroon gilt. The base is embellished with five decorative panels, with a centre figural study, pastoral studies on either end, and gilded panels on either side of the centre and on the back.
The box rests on a inset porcelain foot. The bottom has both an underglaze, Meissen type mark and a hand-painted Sevres-type mark, used by Bourdois & Bloch, in Paris, in the late 19th century.
