French Mahogany Demi-lune – Converts to Round Games Table / Round Dining Room Table with Bronze Trim
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA late 19th century / early 20th century French Mahogany Demi-lune Table that has two options when open. The table can open the top layer to reveal a green felt games table that when the back legs are pulled out , rests on and becomes a large round games table. The second option is to open the second layer which reveals a mahogany top and then becomes a large round dining table (not pictured). The table can extend from there to add leaves and make a long dining table with the deli-lune ends.
The table has a bronze trim on the outside of the table top as well as bronze capped feet.
The leaves have been lost over the years – so for now it can only be used as a round dining / breakfast table. Leaves could be made up in the future.
As a demi-lune table, it measures 21 3/4 inches in diameter and is 29 inches tall.
When open round games table or breakfast table, it measures 43 1/2 inches diameter x 29 inches tall.
The table is in very good condition.
