Continental Silver 19th Century Miniature Cabinet / Box

A lovely little 19th century continental silver miniature cabinet decorated with scenes of a couple playing music and gathering food.

The cabinet doors open as well as a hinge on the back which opens the cabinet as a box.

Silver hallmarks on lower back of cabinet.  The hallmarks look early French (possibly 18th Century) – but could also be Hanau silver marks which would date it to the late 19th century.

Measures just 4 1/4 inches high.
