10K Gold Walking Stick / Cane with Decorative Repoussé Handle & Exotic Wood Shaft – dated 1909

A sturdy and handsome English walking stick / cane with a bright 10 karat gold handle with repoussé decoration & engraving as well as an  engraved presentation for “JAE Switzer – from Board of Education & Richmond Hill Council – 1909″

The handle has been tested with a spectrometer – showing 10k gold purity with an 18k gold vermeil to add extra bright gilt.

Also impressed on handle ” Premier Reg’d”

The shaft of the cane is made of an exotic wood – most likely Rosewood.

Measures from tip to top of cane:  35 1/2 inches long.
