A banquet oil lamp with hand painted globe shade, it dates 19th century, England. It consists of a clear round glass centre, with two glass shade, and a brass body with electrical. The globe has a lovely scene of ivory roses with green leaves on a soft pink coloured base. It has a unique body that was once used as a banquet oil lamp, it was later re-purposed and designed to function as a modern electrical lamp.
A delightful banquet oil lamp with hand painted globe shade, perfect as a unique gift, or light to brighten up any space.
Marked: ‘DIETZ’ mark on the inner clear glassware.
Measures: 38 inches in height.
Excellent Condition. No chips, or cracks in glassware. Updated electrical in solid working condition, with a two prong outlet plug-in, wired for North America.
