19th Century Japanese Patterned Bronze 2 Handled, Footed Incense Bowl

A beautiful 19th century Japanese patterned bronze incense bowl with decorative handles and 4 feet.   The handles in the shapes of Elephant heads and the body is a pattern representing continuous water & waves.  The body is patina’d brown (with some normal patina wear) and the rim of the bowl is natural bronze colour.

The bowl measures 11 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle and stands 5 inches tall.

There is a character signature on the underside of the bowl by the maker.

The bowl is in great condition.
