A Pair of Crescent China England Hand Painted and Gilded 10 1/4 Inch Plates, Decorated by Geo Jones & Sons, circa 1920s

A beautiful pair of hand painted and gilded Crescent China England 10 1/4 inch plates, decorated by Geo Jones & Sons, circa 1920s. The plates have a white back and a cream coloured centre section with a colourful floral spray in the centre of each plate. Around the cream centre is a thick cobalt blue border. Overlaid on both the cream and blue sections are elaborately decorated patterns in gold. There is also a gold rim around the scalloped edge of each plate.

The maker’s mark is stamped on the back of each plate and it also identifies Geo Jones & sons as the decorators.

Both plates are in excellent condition.
