A William IV Period Mahogany & Leather Top Partner’s Desk – Signed Wilkinson & Sons, 14 Ludgate Hill – circa 1825-1833
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA handsome and large early 19th century leather top desk with 4 solid reeded mahogany legs on brass castors. There are 4 drawers in total – two on each end of the desk. Large enough for two people on either short end or a great large space for one on the long end.
Stamped on one drawer – Wilkinson & Sons, 14 Ludgate Hill. This mark was in use from 1825-1833 when the name of company was changed afterwards. The desk is finished all the way around, so can easily be placed anywhere in a room.
Measures 56 inches long x 43 inches deep.
