Art Glass – Large 13 Inch Antique Emile Gallé Vase – 4 Colour – Multi Layers & Engravings – Circa 1900

An absolutely stunning work of art in glass in this Emile Gallé cameo glass vase.  Four colours – yellow, white, blue & purple – with 3 layers of glass cut back in lovely detail of leaves and flowers.  A fine example of Art Nouveau.

Émile Gallé was a French artist and designer who worked in glass, and is considered to be one of the major innovators in the French Art Nouveau movement.

Signed “Gallé” in cameo on the lower body.

Measures 13.25 inches high x 7 inches wide at mid body.
