French Gilt Bronze & Ivory Figure by Louis Sosson (active 1905-1930) – “Jeune Gardienne d’Oies”

A very pretty gilt bronze & ivory sculpture by French artist L0uis Session – a French bronze & ivory sculptor who was active in France from 1905-1930.  The Dutch girl with Dutch hat and shoes overlooks two gawking geese at her feet.  Her face and hands sculpted from ivory – in beautiful detail.

Title has been given: Jeune Gardienne d’Oies (Young Goose Keeper).

Signed “Sosson” bottom right side.

Measures:  12.5 inches high x 7.5 inches deep.
