Gorgeous Victorian, circa 1890, Japanned black lacquer cabinet featuring intricate hand painted Japanese figures in traditional mountainous landscapes. The cabriole legs are hand painted with flowing foliage patterns. Doors are fitted with a vertical detailed brass carved plate edge and key/lock set intact.  Brass hinges and brass drawer pull rings illustrate amazing attention to detail along with the “cranberry red” velvet drawer liners. Eight drawers of various sizes offer an incredibly private locked storage for any discerning collector.
