A beautiful Hand Painted American Art Nouveau three panel folding canvas screen, painted by the Rochester ,NY artist, F. Vargas. The screen has a wooden frame with a beaded wooden top.  Each panel a continuous landscape scene with rolling hills and trees on the upper 3/4 of the screens- and each panel painted with the same Art Nouveau design on the bottom 1/4 of each panel.

The original owner gave us the provenance on the screen as to who the artist is – There is no signature present.

The back of the screen has a soft green fabric backing each panel..

The screen measures approximately 59 inches in height and each panel (with frame) is 19 inches wide for a total of 57 inches wide.

Note: there are two small (repairable) slits in the canvas but, overall, this piece is in very good condition.
