Arts & Crafts Oak – Mission Oak Table Lamp – Electrified from an Oil Lamp (circa 1905-1915).

,

This distinctive Arts & Crafts / Mission Oak table lamp began life as an oil lamp and has since been professionally converted to electricity for modern use. The lamp features a richly grained oak frame with strong, architectural lines characteristic of the Arts & Crafts movement.

The square shade, measuring 18 inches, is fitted with vibrant mottled glass panels in shades of green, amber, and yellow, producing a warm and inviting glow when illuminated. Original brass side handles remain intact, enhancing both the visual interest and period authenticity of the piece.

The sturdy, pegged oak base displays excellent craftsmanship and a rich, naturally developed patina. The original oil font has been retained within the base, while the lamp has been discreetly electrified, with a central socket rising through the top and terminating at the chimney.

Overall height: 21 inches to the top of the chimney.

A handsome and functional example of Arts & Crafts lighting, seamlessly combining historic character with everyday usability—ideal for a Mission, Craftsman, or period-inspired interior.

Measures:  18 inches x 18 inches (shade) x 21 inches high (to top of chimney).
