Beautiful 19th Century Red, Black & Gold French Boulle Side Chair, Brass, Ebony, & Ivory Inlay Marquetry with Tortoiseshell

A gorgeous 19th century French Boulle side chair in red, black and gold with brass, ebony and ivory marquetry inlay as well as tortoiseshell. The chair was made in the style of Andre Charles Boulle, a French furniture and cabinetmaker (1642-1732).  This style became popular again in the later 19th century.

The chair has tapered legs and the seat is a wonderful patterned silk in gold and red.

The chair is 36 inches tall x 16 inches deep and is 19 inches wide across the seat.
