Birks Sterling Serving Fork. George II Plain pattern.

A serving fork by Birks Sterling, it dates mid 20th century. It has a beautiful shell, scroll,ribbon and floral pattern upon front, with heavy accent at the end of the handle and centre. The body is rather smooth with rounded edges, it has unique saxon pierced marks in the centre near the points.

This was one of Birks’ top patterns.

Marked: Birks Sterling.

Measures: 9 inches length.

Excellent Condition. No monograms and no initials. Minor patination commensurate with use and age.
