Birmingham, 1931 Hallmarked Sterling Silver Teapot.

Lovely English sterling silver teapot with wooden handle and finial. The teapot is hallmarked Birmingham 1931 under the lid and on the back of the teapot body with “S Ld”, an anchor, the lion passant and the letter G.

The teapot is of plain design with decorated edging on the lid, centre of the teapot and on the base.

It measures 9 inches long from the tip of the spout to the highest point on the handle and the base is 3.5 inches wide.
