Bohemian Iridescent Gold Art Glass Vase – Attributed to Wilhelm Kralik Sohn.

A striking Bohemian art glass vase, probably by Kralik, dating to the early 20th century. The softly moulded body has an organic, slightly pinched form with a broad rounded base, narrowing at the shoulder before rising to a gently flared rim.

The warm amber glass is decorated with irregular orange spots beneath a richly iridescent gold surface, producing subtle flashes of bronze, green and violet as the light changes. Small bubbles and variations within the glass add texture and reflect the experimental nature of Bohemian Art Nouveau glassmaking.

Although similar pieces are sometimes attributed to Loetz, the form, spotted decoration and textured gold iridescence appear more consistent with production associated with Wilhelm Kralik Sohn. Without a factory mark or documented pattern reference, the attribution should remain qualified.
