An oil painting on board by Thomas Garland Greene – Canadian painter (1875-1955).  Landscape scene of hay bails & trees with large cloudy sky background.  Framed in a carved gilt wood frame.

Signed T.G. Greene – lower right corner.

Board measures:  7 1/4 x 9 3/4 inches
with Frame measures:  11 x 13 1/2 inches

Thomas G. Greene was born in Toronto, and a member of the OSA in 1911 (Ontario Society of Artists).  He died in 1955 and is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. His works are archived and displayed in the National Gallery of Canada.
