Charles X, Early French 19th Century Gilt Bronze Clock circa 1830

An early 19th Century French gilt bronze clock from the Romantic period having a figure of a woman sitting on a hill with her arm leaning on the stump of a tree.  In one hand she holds a letter in the other a pen, as she sits in thought composing a letter.  The clock is fire gilt with a steel face dial with Roman Numerals.  The face is marked Dubois Egros au Mans.

Measures: 15 inches tall x 11 inches wide.
