Chinese Painted Porcelain Cup and Saucer – “Famille Rose” Pattern

A lovely Chinese painted porcelain cup and saucer in the “Famille Rose” pattern. The pieces have a white background, base, underside and interior. They are wonderfully decorated with colourful scenes of figures, fruit, flowers and leaves as well as birds.

The tea cup is 3 3/4 inches wide from the rim to the handle and measures 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches wide.

Note: there is some age wear /paint loss and a tiny nick on the rim of the saucer. However, overall, the set is in good condition.
