    Chinese Cloisonné Hinged Box, circa 1910, Metal Ball Feet

    A wonderful Chinese cloisonné enamelled box, circa 1910, with metal hinges, trim, and ball feet. The box interior is a beautiful vivid blue colour and the exterior has a white background with swirls of lighter blue / green,  and Chinese characters and blossoms in deeper blue.

    The box is 2 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide and is in very good condition.

    Japanese Decorated Bronze Urn, c. 1850-1860, on Attached Stand

    Here is a lovely Japanese bronze urn, c. 1850-1860, on a stand. The urn is wonderfully decorated with animal faces at the tops of the 4 feet, insect handles, a phoenix on each side of the body of the urn as well as other scrolls patterns and other decorations.

    The urn is 13 1/2 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches in diameter at the base.

    (Please note that there are some light scratch marks on the bronze near one of the handles, on the stand near one of the feet, and on the inside of the upper rim)

    A large 19th century Chinese porcelain covered jar in with a light background and painted vases and flowers in greens, blues, reds, rusts & yellows.  Comes with a certificate of Antiquity – originally purchased in 1984 from a Chinese import shop on Yonge Street in Toronto.

    Certificate description:  Porcelain Jar – Emperor Tung-Chih – Ching Dynasty (1862-1875 AD)

    Measures:  17 inches high x 10.5 inches wide

    Excellent condition – one small chip noted on rim of lid.

    Late 19th Century Tall Asian Porcelain Covered Jar

    Here is a wonderful Asian porcelain ginger type jar with a matching lid and sitting on a pierced wooden, footed stand. The jar is very colourful with designs of mountains and warriors on horseback with a banded design near the base of the jar. There are no distinguishing maker’s marks on the underside of the jar.

    The jar (without the lid) is 12 inches tall and the lid measures 2 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide.

    The pierced wooden stand is 8 1/4 inches in diameter X 1 1/2 inches tall.

    All pieces are in very good condition with normal age crazing.

    Here is a lovely Chinese cloisonné enamelled jewelry box. It has a white background with a swirl pattern and blue flowers on the box. The top of the box is wonderfully decorated with multi-colour flowers in cloisonné and has a silver metal trim and hinges. The box is lined in maroon velvet.

    The box measures 3 1/2 inches square and is 2 inches tall.

    It is in very good condition.

    Japanese Hand Painted Bluebird Cup & Saucer with Gold Accents

    This is a delicate bone china cup and saucer made in Japan. It has a white interior and is beautifully decorated on both the cup and the saucer with multiple bluebirds and branches with green, cream and gold accents on the rim and on the handle.

    Measures:  3 7/8 inches wide including handle x 2 1/8 inches high. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter.

    Marked on Saucer: Made in Japan.

    Condition: There is one small flea bite on the body of the cup but the rest is in very good condition.

    Japanese Kutani Porcelain Plate with Serene Landscape and Gilt Scalloped Rim

    This is a traditional Japanese Kutani porcelain plate with the maker’s mark on the underside. The plate has enamelled, painted scenes of the Japanese countryside, depicting two houses on opposite sides of a river connected by a bridge with mountains off in the distance. The plate features soft pink bushes to brighten the landscape and decorative gold accents on the entire plate and on the scalloped rim. I believe this plate dates from the Meiji period (1864-1912) circa 1890

    Measures: 8 3/4 inches in diameter.

    The plate is in very good condition.

    Condition: Excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.

    The teapot and lid have a white background and are decorated with floral designs in red, green, blue, yellow and pink, accented by panels of orange and gold as well as gold on the tip of the teapot lid finial.

    The teapot measures 8 inches wide from spout to handle and measures approximately 6 inches in height from the tip of the finial to the base.

    Belgian Painted Stained Glass Panel – Asian Woman & Child, Artist: M. Van Coppenolle (1912-2004)

    A wonderful stained glass panel of an Asian woman and child, painted and signed in the lower right corner by the Belgian artist, Marta Van Coppenolle (b. 1912 – d. 2004)

    The centre section has a gray background and the figures are done in shades of black and brown with white accents.

    There are some Asian characters in the upper left corner of the panel.   It hangs by a chain attached at both top corners.

    The outside border of panel is done in different colors of glass.

    The panel measures 13 1/2 inches tall x 10 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
