A beautiful rich pattern of raised gold over cobalt blue with a white centre. Pattern is called Seville Blue – and is a pattern that does come in very often.

A beautiful quality hand painted plate with colourful Pheasants and decorative gold border.
The plate is a Salad or Dessert sized plate.
Marked for Royal Crown Chelsea China, England and dates circa 1900.
A fine large soup tureen and matching under tray, created by Haviland & C, Limoges, France, it dates early 20th century. It features a large oval shaped covered bowl with 2 handles, with matching serving tray in a intricate ivory white and gold trim design, complete with a additional large silver-plated serving ladle.
Marked: Limoges. Haviland & C.

A fine pair of porcelain server plates with hand-painted suburban landscape scenes, it dates mid-19th century. The pair feature a beautiful design with two handles, and a hand-painted scene in the centre, decorated with a deep blue coloured border with ornate gold embellishments throughout. Unmarked Ridgway porcelain.
Marked: #1480 in orange.

A fine Derby porcelain tray with a unusual scalloped oval shape design that dates circa 1800-1815. It features a beautifully hand-painted pattern in orange containing scroll, shell, feather and grape throughout the border, accented with gold embellishments and trim. Early Derby mark in “purple” or puce colour on back – dating circa 1800-1815.
Marked: with early Derby mark – crown & D & crossed lines mark on back in purple.

A large English porcelain platter in blue transfer with an Egyptian scene – palm trees, dessert, a man with a camel and the 3 pyramids in the background. A nice wide border with florals.
Measures: 19 1/8 inches long x 14 inches wide.
A large, early Spode Greek Ware Platter with Greek figural scenes and decorations in blue, white and rust colour, dates early 19th century. Features a series of Greek mythology scenes, with a large scene in the centre of a demigod fending off two centaurs, accompanied by eight surrounding scenes. The added rust colour is rare as the platter is seen usually in just blue & white transfer.
Measures: 16 1/2 inches long x 12 7/8 inches wide.

An ‘Early English Porcelain Dessert Set’ consisting of 8 dessert plates and two serving pieces. Each piece has a different hand painted flower in it’s centre with a scroll border coloured in a Minton teal blue. Unmarked – possibly Minton or Coalport.

A delightful English hand painted dessert set, dating circa 1870. The set is a joyful blend of apple green on white, with floral and gold leaf accents. The pieces have a simply unique and whimsical shape and design, giving it a timeless character that reminds one of a ‘Mad Hatter Tea Party’.
This is a lovely set perfect for organizing and celebrating delicious little pastries, cakes or cookies.

A beautiful set of 8 Dessert Plates by Minton. Each plate has a different hand painted botanical spray centre over a white background and is surrounded by a swirl shaped, off white rim and a scalloped edge trimmed in gold.
The variety of flowers are in a multitude of vibrant colours and very well painted and signed by the artist J. Colclough.
For Joseph Colclough who worked for Minton from 1905-1942.
Each plate is just under 9 inches in diameter.
A lovely English bone china urn by Royal Crown Derby in the traditional ‘Old Imari’ pattern #1128′. It features a stunning ovaloid shape with two interesting handles with rectangular footed base. It is ornately decorated with line, scroll and floral in colours of burnt orange, dark cobalt blue, gold and a touch of green.
Beautifully designed and hand-painted.

Dates: The date mark starts with an X but the rest is covered – 1947 -1986 (L starts after)

This is a very prettily decorated set of 12 gold-edged Minton dinner plates, with a deco-influenced floral border.
The pattern features plain white centres, surrounded by cream-coloured rims, overlaid with two contrasting decorative bands.
The outside rim is a foliate garland in blue, green, turquoise and yellow, framed with yellow and black scrollwork on either side.
The wider, interior rim has yellow footed baskets, filled with stylized, multicoloured, floral sprays, in rich shades of pink, blue, rust, turquoise, and green, with raised, red enamel berries between the leaves. Yellow foliate scrollwork sprays with black outline alternate with the baskets. A yellow border, trimmed in black, with small festoons of laurel garland, complete the rim decoration surrounding the recessed white centres.
This set would be lovely on a buffet table. If this is your pattern, these dinner plates are a rare and lucky find!
Marked: On the backs of each plate with a hand-applied pattern number in cadmium red and a black Minton transfer factory mark in use between 1912-1950, and an impressed “Minton” block printed mark in the body.
Measures: 10 1/4″ across.
This dessert service consists of eight plates, and a footed comport.
Both the plates and the serving dish have turquoise blue borders, overlaid with foliate garland, interspersed with raised, gilt dot. The turquoise edges rims are banded, on either side with gold lines. Inside is a wide, cream-coloured band surrounding round, hand-painted, pastoral landscape paintings, surrounded by a raised dot gilt frame.
Each painting depicts a unique scene. Some include figures; others, livestock, a water feature, or a rustic building: but all are finely done, with remarkable detail, and beautiful, natural colour.
The low, round, pedestal base of the comport, rests on four, stylized, inverted column top feet, decorated to match the rims on the tops of the plates.
Royal Worcester is one of England’s pre-eminent china and porcelain manufacturers.
This beautiful dessert service would be a wonderful addition to a collection of fine English china.
Marked: On the back of each plate, with an impressed mark “Worcester” in printed letters, around a circle, topped with a crown, and, on the inside, four ‘w”s, a crescent moon around the number “51”. Further marked with an impressed letter “B”, indicating manufacture in the year 1868 (pictured). The Royal Worcester Book classifies this as a RARE MARK.

Each plate having hand painted florals in the centre along with a grey blue decorative border with gold flowers over top. The china border itself is also molded with grapes and leaf design.
