Circa 1910 American Brass Table Lamp With Caramel Curved Glass

This handsome American gilt metal table lamp, circa 1910, has a gorgeous brass curved round base and intricate brass trim designs on the edge of the caramel glass shade. The gilt details are reminiscent of the aesthetic values of both the Arts and Crafts movement and the Art Nouveau style in that there is a high standard of craftsmanship combining functionality and beauty.  Eight caramel semi-curved glass panels give a beautiful glow of soft yellow light. A fabulous lamp, in great condition and completely rewired with two light bulbs, each with a separate brass pull chain.
