A fine matched pair of English hand-cut crystal spirit decanters, each mounted with a sterling silver collar by renowned J.B. Chatterley & Sons of Birmingham. The silver bears full English hallmarks, including the special commemorative mark issued for the Bicentennial of the Birmingham Assay Office (1773–1973).

The decanters feature elegant bell-shaped bodies with deep diamond and fan cutting, star-cut bases, and original matching faceted crystal “mushroom” stoppers. The crystal is clear and bright, displaying excellent light refraction.

A handsome and decorative pair, ideal for display or use, and a desirable example of commemorative English silver-mounted crystal.
