Double Sided Carved Ivory Japanese Netsuke of Man Holding a Fan c.1900

An interesting carved ivory netsuke of an old man holding a fan. On the other side of the netsuke is the same carving only upside down.

The netsuke is signed on the underside in Japanese characters.

The netsuke is 1 5/8 inches tall x 1 3/4 inches wide and is in excellent condition.
