v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA life size carved marble bust of a woman with braided long hair in two long tails, a carved necklace and headband. Her dress is loose and has slipped down beneath one breast. The hand carved marble bust dates early 19th century – most likely French.
The large pedestal that she sits upon is also included. The carved marble pedestal is a tapered square shape with bronze applications.
The pedestal dates mid-19th century.
