Early Victorian quality built, oval mahogany super extending dining table. Opens via a winding mechanism that works perfectly and has the original crank handle.  The crank & steel winding mechanism or “sandwich system” easily extends the table to any combination of the additional three table leaves, offering versatile seating for up to 14 people. Standing on boldly carved & slightly tapering legs that have the original porcelain castors.  The top is in amazingly good condition considering the age and has a solid moulded edge and apron surrounding. Great value for a period piece and a perfect vignette for family dining and timeless special events where the treasure is that..”food around a table brings everyone together”.
