v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA sweet English hallmarked (Chester 1920) sterling silver small water pot with a covered handle and a hinged lid. The pot is monogrammed on the front with the initials “GBL”.
The underside of the pot is stamped “C & K Calcutta” and the hallmarks are stamped into the back side of the body, near the handle. The makers are Cooke & Kelvey out of Calcutta, India during the English commonwealth period.
It is 5 inches wide from the spout to the handle and stands 4 1/2 inches tall from the tip of the handle to the base.
It is in very good condition.
