Hand Painted Floral English Porcelain Dessert Service – circa 1840’s

This dessert set consists of 2 compotes and 8 plates, each one is hand painted with an individual floral centre accented with elaborate gold work and bright turquoise scrolls over a white background. Unmarked. Good condition.

Oval compote measures: 11 1/2 inches long x 9 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches high.
Rectangular compote measures: 11 inches long x 9 inches wide x 2 inches high.
Plates measure: 9 inches in diameter.
