The “Adam’s style ” beginning in the 18th century exudes the elegance of English neoclassical design elements featuring light, delicate hand painted ornamentation like garlands, rosettes, swag and inset medallions.
The upper section (vitrine/curio) is for display featuring a serpentine carved top panel above two slightly bowed original astral glazed door panels that open to reveal two interior damask fabric covered shelves, which are adjustable and perfect for displaying your favourite china, books or curios.
The lower section is for storage with a pull out shelf , two symmetrical wood drawers and two lower doors. The doors each have a unique large inset hand-painted medallion of a neoclassical dancing woman figure with a cherub. The hand painting of wreaths and laurels on every front surface defines each furniture element and adds a neoclassical sophistication.
