Exquisite & Large Art Nouveau Vase, Sterling Silver Overlay on Emerald Green Glass Vase by Matthews Company Circa 1910

From the American Matthews Company, a . 999 fine silver overlay, emerald green glass Art Nouveau vase from the early 1900s. Hand chased with amazing engraved details on the silver overlay of  “Art Nouveau style” flowers & leaves throughout. The vase is comprised of high quality, bright, emerald green glass with generous amounts of engraved and polished, fine, sterling silver in a complete vase overlay design which encircles the lip and exterior perimeter of the entire vase in a classic, floral, theme.

The floral theme is commonly associated with the Art Nouveau, artistic period. Silver marks to the base rim of Matthews Co.,  New Jersey (est.1907) and has an approximate date of production (1910). Wonderful & not monogrammed.
