French Bronze Figure with Ivory Face – Antonin Clair Forestier (1865-1912)

A late 19th century gilt bronze statue by signed “Forestier.  Lovely “wintry” image of a young woman with her hands in a warming muff with an ivory facial image adding to the visual impact of the bronze. Base is a gorgeous green marble, again adding ” weather”  referencing to the art.
