French Champleve Enamel Chatelaine / Brooch, c.1880

Here is an exquisite French champleve blue, red, and white enamel chatelaine / brooch, circa 1880.

It has very colourful enamel and gilt metal, accented with blue cabochons.

The chatelaine has 5 dangling sections, containing a pencil, hinged box with gilt interior, perfume bottle, mirror with sliding cover, and small notebook with sliding cover.

The pin back has been added / soldered later and has a hinged closure.

The chatelaine measures 8 1/2 inches in length and 4 inches wide.

The chatelaine is in very good condition.
