Exquisite French Pair of Crystal & Gilded Perfumes in Fitted Walnut Box with Hinged Lid, late 19th Century

A beautiful late 19th century antique French walnut wooden box for perfume.  The original crystal perfume bottles are beautifully hand-painted with gold-coloured trim and floral accents on both the stoppers and the upper level of the bottles. The box has two blue velvet chevrons for holding and protecting the perfume bottles and features brass fittings for the hinges, lock & key. The whole set is in good condition with the exception that on the lower base, a small side trim piece is missing. The crystal perfume bottles are an exquisite matched pair, delicate and a wonderful addition to any collection.
