A lovely French transitional mahogany commode with fruitwood inlay. It has a mottled grey marble top and a bow front.

Dates circa 1860, France.

There are 3 long drawers with later period gilt metal round mounts / ring handles and black metal designs on the front and on the legs of the piece.

It measures 46 inches long x 18 1/2 inches deep and stands 34 inches tall.
