v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA wonderful George II Engraved sterling silver cake knife by Birks. The knife has a serrated blade. This pattern (George II) was Birks’ top pattern – it came in plain and engraved. The engraved version is much harder to get.
The back of the knife handle is stamped “Birks Sterling” and shows hallmarks.
The cake knife measures 10 1/4 inches long and is in beautiful condition.
