PorcelainsA wonderful early 19th century English black basalt teapot in a barrel shape with a squared handle and a cone finial. There is an overall design of grape clusters and vines on the body of the teapot.
No visible maker’s mark on the underside.
The tea pot measures 7 1/4 inches tall from the base to the finial and is 10 3/4 inches wide from the tip of the spout to the handle.
It is in excellent condition.
