A lovely set of Georgian mahogany 3-tier library steps. Each step has an embossed, gilded tooled leather insert on the step top. The uppermost of the steps is hinged and opens to a deep box for storage.

The steps sit on 4 tapered feet.

The steps measure 30 inches in length from the edge of the bottom step to the back edge and stand 27 inches tall from the edge of the top step to the bottom of the back foot.

There is some age wear / cracking on the leather and some of the gilding is worn but, overall, this piece is in good condition.
