Hallmarked English Sterling Silver Long Pair of Salad Servers – Shell Pattern – Henry Williamson Ltd – Sheffield dated 1911

A beautiful pair of English hallmarked sterling silver salad servers with a shell engraving on each handle and an engraved tree with the Forrest clan motto (vivant dum virent) beneath the tree. The motto translates as “they live while they are green”.

The underside of each piece shows the hallmarks and the maker’s mark.  Henry Williamson Ltd – dated 1911 (Sheffield, England).

Each piece measures 10 3/4 inches long and is 2 inches wide across the bowl.

Both pieces are in very good condition.
