Hand-Blown Cranberry and Opaque Glass Vase with Scalloped Rim, Applied Clear Glass Decoration, c. 1880

A lovely hand-blown cranberry and opaque glass vase with a scalloped rim and an applied, crimped clear glass swirl decoration around the body of the vase.

The underside shows a large pontil mark where the vase was detached from the glass-blower

The vase is 7 3/4 inches tall and is 3 3/4 inches wide across the scalloped rim.

It is in very good condition.
