Hand Painted Portrait of Woman on Porcelain Signed- Brodel – Framed – German – circa 1890

An exceptionaly hand painted portrait of a woman on porcelain – Signed on the front bottom right corner “Brodel” for the German artist Max Brodel 1870 – 1940.  Titled “Fleur D’Orient Laseaux”.

The painting is framed in a gild wood with plaster corners and decoration.  The back was sealed – the porcelain is marked by an impressed mark of a crown over a sheild and titled in fine script.

Measures:  frame : 9 3/4 inches x 9 3/4 inches
Portrait measures: 3 inches square (showing) – a little larger as it sits under the frame.
