Intriguingly Gorgeous English Regency Style, Pair of Walnut Chests with Satinwood Inlay Medallions, Mid 20th Century

Mid 20th century gorgeous pair of English Regency “style” walnut chests with elaborate combinations of gilded (gold) wood carvings. Lovely veneered fronts, each having a beautifully carved and trimmed center medallion of satinwood inlay depicting an amphora shaped vase of flowering stems.  Each chest has a generous top surface area with carved braided trim and a top drawer. The fronts open to a large interior storage, all supported by dramatic sabre legs.  The doors open opposite sides of each other.

Truely a wonderfully intriguing combination of design elements, a rare find!
