Irresistible English Wedgewood Dinner/Serving Plates Hand Painted “Florals” Fine Bone China Set of 6 “St. Austell” Pattern Circa 1920

Irresistible early 20th century set of 6 hand painted dinner plates, made by Wedgwood England, in the “St. Austell” pattern. The plates have a white “center background” bordered and trimmed to the edge in hand painted sophisticated “pastel intense floral bouquets”. There are 5 repeated “bouquet” vignettes with amazingly detailed surrounds of blossoms, leaf stems, a cadmium yellow “scrolled” interior border and the rim in a “forest green”.

On the underside of each plate is the Wedgwood maker’s mark, “Wedgwood Made in England, St. Austell” and “W 1989”. All are in excellent condition.

So sweet and lovely, perfect for a garden boho wedding, tea party, bridal tea, baby shower, baby sprinkle or for any Wedgewood china collector.
