Japanese Sterling and mixed metal, hand crafted cigarette case with mountain landscape scenes both on the exterior and interior. Beautiful engraving and inlayed details in various metals, depicting a mountain landscape scene with deer. Very good condition.

Very unusual way that the case opens two ways from the centre and then having storage for cigarettes on either side. Springy holders made from silver to hold the contents in.

Marked “Sterling” with a Pagoda silver mark on the interior.
