A wonderful, large oil painting on canvas of a seascape showing the coast of the island of Capri, Italy by the artist, Michele Federico (1884-1966).

Federico was nicknamed “the painter of the sea” because his marine paintings are unforgettable, often of the island of Capri, where he was born and worked until his death.

The painting has an elaborately carved gilded wooden frame.

With frame measures 37 inches in width and is 31 inches tall.
Canvas measures: 22 inches x 30 inches.

It is in excellent condition.
