Majolica Asparagus Plate, Scalloped Edges, 19th Century

Here is a very pretty 19th century Majolica pottery asparagus plate. The back of the plate is white and the front is decorated with scalloped edges in light green, next to a pale blue lattice pattern.

The centre of the plate has darker green leaves and 5 white asparagus spears with pink and white tips.

The plate measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter; is numbered “30” on the reverse; and is in good condition.
