Meiji Period – Japanese 19th Century Large Imari Charger.

A beautifully decorated Meiji period Japanese Imari Charger.  Decorated with 3 scenic panels and separated by 3 geometric designs.  The centre circle is another hand-painted scene depicting a lovely botanical garden.  Bold colours of reds, blues, greens and orange decorate this large charger.

Marked with underglaze blue Japanese mark on back.

Measures: 14 inches in diameter.

Excellent Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. (Minimal surface scratches on the back and a small mark near a unknown symbol)
