Mid 19th Century French Louis Philippe Mahogany & Brass Tall Pendulum Clock – Vincenti & Cie. Circa 1855
GeneralA tall mahogany case clock with panels of brass and patina’d bronze classical figures on the front. The dome covered face opens to reveal a skeletal open brass works with a silvered face with black Roman numerals. The sides have 2 lion faces with rings and the top has a winged cherub finial.
The back opens to reveal the works and inner body – with a long pendulum. The works are marked “Vincenti & Cie” with the Medaille d’Argent circle mark with the date 1855.
